Our client Sophie Neuman. Sophie was just 18 when she was diagnosed with Stage IV brain cancer, specifically Glioblastoma Multiforme. Sophie was a bright charismatic girl, accepted to the University of Oregon, but never had the chance to show all of the world her wonder. Sophie's mom and Board Member Mrs. Gretchen Miller Neuman presses the importance of hospice care, as it can bring tremendous comfort and ease in the last moments. We strive to remember Sophie as she was, the happy and ambitious glowing girl you see.
Our client, two year old Kai McAlpin, a darling young boy who passed from T-Cell Leukemia this past March. Kai was commonly referred to as "Warrior Kai" for his amazing demeanor and courage, but also his sweet smile and ability to bring light wherever he was. We hope to have captured his grand innocence, perseverance, and legacy in his piece. Warrior Kai forever lives on.
Our client Brooklyn, a two year old recently diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. Brooklyn's incredible smile and joy radiate to anyone who sees her, and her grace through her battle is unprecedented. She currently has no evidence of disease.
Our client Henry "Hank" Schueler. Henry was a vibrant boy known for his football number, 41, and his baseball number, 9. He was diagnosed with a rare subtype of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) in 2006 at the age of 13, and fought valiantly until his passing in December of 2007. The Henry Schueler 41 & 9 Foundation was created in his honour, which raises funds for pediatric leukemia research as well as fungal infections. His legacy rests in his incredible courage, maturity, will to live, and dedication to all passions and those around him.
Our client Sammy Johnson. Sammy passed away in May 2017 after a near five year battle with Neuroblastoma. In the wake of his passing, Executive Director Isabella Day shaved her head after raising $90 in 24 hours, which she donated to the Monroe Carrell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt's Childhood Cancer Research Fund.
Our client, Zamora Moon Martinez-Lusinchi. Zamora passed away in June 2017 from Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma at the age of nine. The world will never be the same from her nine years of wondrous life, as she lived it with an open heart, an open mind, and open arms.
Our client Jayse. Jayse passed in July 2017 from Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He was a sweet gentle boy from New Orleans, and was the younger brother of two adoring sisters.
A photo of our client Miljenka when she was in her 20s. She passed in August 2017. Miljenka was a lover of classical, Croatian, French, and latin music. She was described as warm, affectionate, and a lover of colors. As a painter Miljenka saw the world through her unique perspective, and shared her musings with us all.
Our client, three year old Ayden Brown. Ayden has Stage 3 Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma, and inspires his community of Las Vegas as he continues to meet his cancer with incredible grit.
Personal friend of Executive Director Isabella Day, Kevin Burke passed away unexpectedly on July 10, 2017. He was known to be an exuberant and abundantly caring man who loved his family and friends dearly. A piece was written in his honor entitled "Beloved".

Lily LaMartina with her older brother Joe. Lily is currently battling leukemia, which is found to be more common in individuals with Down Syndrome. Joe has started the Lily 5k in Nashville, TN, in support of his sister. He also is President of St. Jude Up 'Til Dawn at Belmont University. Lily's piece, "Precious", is featured on our album "Bloom into Blossom".
Belle Craighead passed away in a single-vehicle car crash on October 20, 2017. She was 20 years old and a friend of Executive Director Isabella Day. Her piece, "Beauty in the Wonder", is featured on our album "Bloom into Blossom".
In her honor we created the Belle Craighead Award, in recognition of an outstanding social entrepreneur. In 2018, Kat Carlton of the Womb Booking was the recipient.
